What we believe:

Collaboration

Life is hard and your schedule is crazy, we work with you to optimize your training around you, not one size fits all. We will be honest if your goals do not align with your time commitment or your current level of fitness to ensure we have your informed consent on what is attainable before allowing you to pay for coaching and we will seek your feedback to ensure you are getting the most out of our plan.

Science

We believe in science and utilizing the breath of information available, as well as the training of a Doctor of Physical Therapy, to provide you with a nuisanced and evidence based plan that is tailored and optimimized to your own body, schedule and goals.

Injury prevention

The first principle of training is the “overload principle.” It is a very delicate balance to place enough demand on your body to create adaptation without causing so much that injury is sustained. Coach Nicole will help you walk this line while educating you about necessary precautions to take to ensure your body stays healthy.

Community first

Nicole's favorite term is "tending our community garden" (she eats a lot of veggies, but that’s not what she's talking about). Hungry Dogs is our way of giving back to a community we love. We want our knowledge to be shared with our community to help other runners achieve their goals. Community service is a core part of our mission.

It's supposed to be fun, man

For us running is a journey of joy. We want you to experience the same.
